Frank Burbach
About Frank Burbach
Frank Burbach is a lawyer, a German career diplomat and an Asia specialist, who has been painting and sketching since early childhood, trained at the Art Academy in Munich whilst also at law school and has been keeping studios in every new posting around the world.
His paintings are deeply influenced by abstract expressionism, but also various cultures of countries around the world, especially Japan and China, have left a deep mark.
The duality of experiencing life as a diplomat and at the same time expressing his observations and inner feelings in painting makes the quality of his works so unique.
